St Paul in the JQ is an ‘Inclusive Church’. We affirm that the Church’s’ mission, in obedience to Holy Scripture, is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in every generation. We acknowledge that this is Good News for all people, regardless of their gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation. We believe that, in order to strengthen the Gospels proclamation of justice to the world and for the greater glory of God, the church’s own common life must be justly ordered. As such we welcome everybody and see them as a person loved by God. In our worship we want all who attend to be affirmed by the new life and hope given to us in Jesus Christ.
We meet every Sunday at 10.30am for a service of Holy Communion, where we listen to God’s Word in the Holy Scriptures and gather around the table of Jesus Christ to receive his new life in bread and wine. Our international congregation then meets for refreshments and fellowship after the service. We occasionally have other services, especially to celebrate important days in the Christian calendar. Make sure to check back here for further information or follow us on social media for regular updates.
For those unable to come along in person, please join us online by getting in touch with us via onlineservices@stpaulsjq.church .
